Copper wire or telephone line technology loses bandwidth in proportion to the distance from your home to the telephone switch building.  The farther you are away, the slower your dial up connection.  No easy fix.

ADSL generally works for distances of 3 to 7 Kms. from the switch building depending on a variety of physical factors.

Our wireless (radio based) access does not lose speed in the same way copper telephone lines do.  We are limited to "line of site" but those who are in range of our equipment will experience full system speed.
